Okay I’m a woman, I’m allowed to change my mind – it’s the law!!!

I’m just not sure about my blog – again. Having some issues with photo uploads and post layouts – in that I can’t get them the way I like them to look – which I used to find so much easier over on tuther blog.

So, I’m giving my other one a second chance – we’ll see how we get on – but you can find me back over here …

Loooooooooong Day!

Yesterday we went to Crufts as Mum’s entourage, which I will fill you in on in a min, but first of all I thought I’d better post the pictures of this exploding box that I keep claiming I made for my MIL – only nobody has seen any evidence of it – so here it is (well I tell I lie – Gayle and Andie saw it before I posted it off). Anyway, I’m waffling on as I usually do …

See so it is real, I didn’t make it all up ha ha ha – bear with me – I’m sleep deprived!

The reason I’m sleep deprived? Crufts! Seeing as Scott has been away with work this week (and is actually due back any minute now), meant that I couldn’t stay at Mum’s on Wednesday night as we usually would, so, yesterday the alarm went off at the ungodly hour of 4.30am!!! I didn’t even know that time existing – well unless I’m coming home from a night out – but believe me it is a looooooooooooong time since that happened! Anyway, we were up at half 4, had to leave home to get to Mum’s in time for setting off at 6, then off we set for Birmingham. When we arrived at the NEC, we had our picnic breakfast in the car – I’m sure this was the highlight of Charlotte’s day, and while Charlotte sat in the front seat of the car having her breakfast, this meant that I had to cram myself into the back on the car, into Charlotte’s car seat so that I could feed Cameron his breakfast – hmmmmm comfy!

So after breakfast, we unloaded the car and made our way into the NEC – Charlotte riding on top of the dog trolley – and we had to bribe her to pretend that she was 3 – took a LOT of bribing! Once we’d found our spot for the day, Charlotte helped out with grooming Dante. Hmmmm Dante – he was NOT impressed by the whole affair – I think he’d much rather have stayed at home – ever seen a naffed off dog? No? Here you go …

Even a cuddle from Charlotte did little to improve his mood – no pleasing some dogs!

While Dante strutted his stuff in the ring (still with a face like thunder), the kids and I watched – well I tried to keep Charlotte from running onto the green carpet – oh the embarrassment – could you imagine? I managed to get a few pics of Mum and Dante in the show ring and I’m making my excuses before I upload them – the lighting in that place is AWFUL – so sorry!

The woman in the green jacket on the second photo was the judge – she was only interested in the smiley look (and her friends – did I say that outloud?), so no huge trophy and a year’s supply of Pedigree Chum for Dante – just as well seeing as he doesn’t eat it!

After we’d had our lunch, it was time for SHOPPING! Stall after stall of stuff you never even knew your dog needed!!! Then the best bit of all – Discover Dogs – this has to be my favourite part of going to Crufts – all breeds of dogs – you can go and see them, stroke them (bit like stash) and talk to their owners about the breed – fab if you’re looking to get a dog and want to know if the dog will suit you or you’ll suit the dog.

Loved this guy – or maybe it was a girl – we weren’t that well acquainted – would love a Basset – hmmm Scott – you reading this??

One of my other faves – the Dandie – loved these for years – want one of these too!

These were sooooo cute – wire-haired Dachshunds – and they come in a miniature version too – handbag sized – oooooh get me going all Paris Hilton!

We set off for home at about half 4 – hmmmm great timing for the M6! Made it back to Mum’s and had tea, then set off back to ours – sooooooooooo tired, but we’d all had a fab day. I gave Charlotte the option of not going into Nursery today, but the nutter wanted to go, so I had to drag myself out of bed to take her – thank goodness we’ll get to sleep in a bit tomorrow – children depending!

Back to normality?!

Woo hoo – Scott has his uses – he came home from his skiing holiday on Sunday to be given my puter and told to sort it out – so with a bit of tinkering (and a few bashes at one point), its all back to normal! Yaaaaaay!

I’ve managed to do a bit of scrapping! I’ve almost completed a LO, which I did at Gayle’s on Friday night, but just need to finish that off – well I don’t want to over do it do I!

I also made an exploding box for my MIL for Mother’s Day – but I still need to upload the photos of that onto my puter, so will share them soon.

This morning I decided to have a trundle to John Lewis while I only had Cameron to keep control of. I fancied a nosey around at nothing in particular, and I came away with a Hama bead set for Charl, which she loves and is currently engrossed in, and some needles and wool in an attempt to learn to knit – again! My Grandma taught me when I was a lass (I still am a lass – I haven’t had surgery but you know what I mean), anyway it has been so long since I’ve picked up any needles that I’m a total beginner. I gave it a go this afternoon, but my tension is far too tight, so I need to relax that a bit – thanks Marie for the link xx

Anyway, off to sort out some tea for my monsters xx

Puter problems!

A certain little lady – hmmmm could I be talking about Charlotte, has done something to my computer. Yesterday I left her playing on the cbeebies website while I made tea (I shouldn’t have left her!), came back to see what she was doing and the computer colours have gone totally wacko. Everything is crazy and it hurts my eyes to look at it, can’t figure out how she’s done it so I’ve got to wait for Scott to get back from his ski trip before I can get it sorted out – oh well, I’ll just have to use his computer!

Kids eh!

Its been a while!

Since I last posted. I’d like to say that I’ve been busy and have lots to report, but I’ve not! I’ve been busy doing nothing much. Still not managed to do any scrapping, but I have found the instructions for the heater in the conservatory, so now that I can get heat in there in the evenings, I’m more likely to sit down at my desk and do some scrapping rather than just thinking about it or complaining that I’ve not done any!

Scott is away at the moment – he’s gone skiing with some friends for the week, so its just me and the monsters. I have got a child free weekend though. I’m off out with some of the other mums from nursery on Friday so Mum is having the kids for me on Friday and Saturday night – what will I do with myself! Shame that the Cheadle Hulme crop isn’t this weekend! Ho hum, always the way!

Hmmmm wonder if I’ll scrap tonight, or whether I’ll just think about it again ….

Lost it again

I’ve lost my mojo again, or maybe that should be my enthusiasm for anything crafty – it just isn’t happening for me. I can’t remember when I last did any scrapping – and it’s really bugging me. Maybe I’d spend some time scrapping in the evenings if the conservatory wasn’t so flippin’ cold – I’ve got a heater in there, but I’m yet to fathom out how the ‘eck you turn it on!

I also haven’t joined in with HS:MS for ages and ages. So a big kick up the bum for me and tomorrow I will attempt to join in with the prompts again and maybe I’ll try to do a bit of scrapping or find the destruction manual to the heater. Watch this space!

WOW there are so many themes to play around with here – it’s fab, so expect frequent new looks – you know what I’m like – can’t leave anything alone for long.

I will do a blog header at some point, but for now, I’ve chosen this theme which is called ‘Almost Spring’ – well it is after all and with the weather that we’ve had this last week I felt it was more than appropriate.

So the half-term holidays are over – yay! Peace and quiet for 2 and half hours a morning again – I know it isn’t much, but woo hoo anyway! Will have to make sure we’re up and out of the house earlier than we got up this morning! Just a shame that we’ve all been full of colds this week, nobody has really felt up to doing much other than taking it easy.

Anyway, just because I wanted to try out uploading a pic to a post, here is the card that I made for Scott for Valentine’s Day, really pleased with how it turned out and he liked it too – well he said he did!

HS:MS – SPS

So it’s Saturday again and oh no not SPS again! But, no! When I checked out HS:MS this morning, there was a bit of a twist – today we take a pic of someone else!

Fab! Woo hoo! Happy dancing!

Last night it snowed here, and although there is hardly anything to shout about, Charlotte wanted to play outside. So, I wrapped them both up and we went outside.

That is where I took this pic of Cam (with weetabix on his nose), in our garden while he’s checking out the snow on the wall. In the background you can see Charl playing at the table – her ‘my little pony’ is playing in the snow too!
